DRIVE-TEST: A student who gets between 60%-70% for their final course grade for the classroom OR DOES NOT have adeute driving skills as determined by their behind-the-wheel instructor will have to take a drive test at their local DMV in order to get their license.

"What are the requirements to enroll in driver's education?
1) Students must be at least 14 1/2 years old
2) Have held a permit for at least 6-months
3) Have at least 10-hours of drive time with their parent
"How long are sessions?"
Sessions are:
6-weeks in the school year
4-Weeks in the summer (1 June Session, 1 July)
"How often does my student drive?"
Students will drive once per week in the school year for 6-weeks, and twice per week in summer for 4-weeks. Drive times are regular and are often in 3-hour blocks (3 students, each drive 1-hour).
"How are drives scheduled?"
When students register, they will select two times that work best for them. The coordinator will look at the times other students in the session selected and will make their effort to give students their #1 preferred drive time, if not their second.
"I can't pick up my student after their drives, what can I do?"
We offer a drop off service as one of our packages. In this package, our instructors will drop off your student after every drive. It is an additional $100 (standard package: $425, Drop-off: $525).
"What happens if my student misses a drive OR there is a scheduling conflict?"
If a student misses a drive, they will have to contact their instructor and schedule a make up time. Students need 6-total hours of drive time in order to meet the Iowa DOT standards. Instructors will work with students to esnure students get the adequete drive time in. However, driver's education is a commitment, sessions run most smooth when students don't miss drives.
"Do I need to provide my own car?"
No, your student will use the company provided car equipped with a passenger brake and mirror.
"How do I reserve a spot?"
Spots are reserved by first filling out the enrollment form, then the coordinator confirms availability, then you pay a $100 nonrefundable deposit. Once paid, your student's spot is secured. However, the rest of balance must be paid prior to the week before class starts.
"If my student drops out what happens?"
If students drop before class starts, they simply lose their $100 deposit. If a student drops out prior to one-full week before class starts, they also only lose the $100 deposit. However, if a student drops out within one-week of class starting, they will NOT receive a refund.
"How do I pay?"
We accept Cash, Card, and Venmo
